Workshop: what could be the impact of the Cloud Act for European companies?
The Cloud Act promulgated in March 2018 allows the American government to access data stored by any American company even outside the US territory. What are the risks of said law for European companies? How can they preserve their data integrity? Is the Cloud Act compatible with the GDPR and the European directive on the protection of undisclosed know-how and business information (trade secrets)? Garance Mathias, Paris Court lawyer, will answer these questions during the workshop. (for end-users only)
